About Rita Staffing
The year was 1973. Richard Nixon was president. The Vietnam war ended. Miami won the Superbowl. And The Godfather won the academy award for best picture.

1973 was also the year that Jim and Marty Dayvault founded Rita Staffing in Lakeland, a full-service recruitment and placement firm.

30 Years of Success...and Counting
Over the years, we have grown to become one of Central Florida's largest and most successful staffing firms. Each year we provide staffing support to hundreds of employers and help thousands of people find rewarding jobs.

Our mission is to assist employers in meeting the challenges faced by virtually every business in America, and that is matching workforce to workload.

Today, Rita Staffing has offices in South and North Lakeland, Winter Haven, Plant City, Ocala, Tampa, Winter Park, and Sebring. To provide specialized support for our clients, Rita Staffing also operates two sister organizations:

Rita Technology Services
Rita Technology Services is a Tampa, Florida based IT Search & Consulting firm specializing in the recruitment and placement of Information Technology candidates in both Direct Hire and Consulting positions. Rita Technology serves clients throughout Tampa Bay, Orlando, Lakeland and Central Florida.

Sunshine Staffing
Sunshine Staffing provides recruitment and placement support from the Winter Park, and Sebring offices.

Certified Staffing Professionals
At Rita Staffing, we are committed to providing the greatest staffing expertise and most ethical service to our clients and candidates. As part of this commitment, four of our Staffing Managers have received the designation of Certified Staffing Professional by the American Staffing Association.

This certification requires demonstrated expertise in the areas of employment law principles and ethical practices applicable to the staffing industry.

Senior Professionals in Human Resource
In addition to our Certified Staffing Professionals, three of our senior managers have earned certifications as Senior Professionals in Human Resource (SPHR).

Qualifying for the SPHR requires extensive industry experience and passing a comprehensive examination demonstrating a strong background in the human resource field.
